Backstab

Backstab does bonus  Melee Damage damage when hitting a target from behind. Backstab can be hard to use, since that attacker must be behind the target. That is why Backstab is typically a Rogue ability that is best used while in  Stealth.

Backstab is an ability but gets all the bonuses of basic attacks, like  Life Steal and  Mana Steal.
